About Me

I help businesses across Australia improve profitability, strengthen performance and operate more effectively, drawing on more than 20 years of experience across small, medium and large organisations.

Throughout my career, I have worked with high-performing teams and experienced leaders, gaining practical insight into how successful businesses are managed. I now use this knowledge to help business owners improve their operations, make informed decisions and achieve sustainable growth.

My experience spans the mining, manufacturing, construction and service industries. I have also worked extensively with small businesses and have operated a business myself. This gives me a practical, first-hand understanding of the challenges business owners face every day, including managing cash flow, improving profitability, building capable teams and finding time to focus on growth.

After many years working within large Australian organisations, I realised that my true passion is supporting small and medium-sized businesses. Unlike large corporations, small businesses often do not have access to the same level of specialist resources, systems or funding. What they do have is passion, commitment and determination. With the right support and practical guidance, even small improvements can make a significant difference.

My experience covers accounting, finance, business advisory, human resources, leadership, mentoring, team management and business process improvement. I have managed and supported teams of various sizes and understand the importance of combining strong financial management with effective people and operational practices.

In addition to my professional work, I support not-for-profit and community organisations through voluntary roles as a language teacher and Community Language School Principal.

I hold a Master of Professional Accounting and have worked in senior finance roles, including as a Finance Manager. I also hold qualifications in Business Law and Human Resource Management and have professional experience as a Human Resources Manager.

My philosophy is simple:

About Me

I help leaders grow from the inside out by clarifying purpose, strengthening mindset and building character.

My leadership journey spans some of Australia’s most demanding professional environments. I served for 12 years in the Australian Army, including service within Special Forces and operational deployments. In 2019, I was commissioned as an officer and later instructed leadership and command at the Royal Military College – Duntroon.

These experiences shaped my belief that true leadership is not defined by rank or position. It is developed through discipline, resilience, integrity and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

Beyond my military service, I completed a degree in Health and Safety and worked for four years as a Safety Advisor in the coal mining industry. In this role, I applied risk management frameworks to support people and operations in high-risk working environments.

I also served for 19 years with the Australian Federal Police across community policing and specialist roles. Throughout this career, I led people, managed complex situations and worked in environments where trust, sound judgement, resilience and accountability were essential.

Across Defence, law enforcement and industry, one principle has remained constant:

Leadership is not about position — it is about mindset, character and consistent effort.

Today, I am passionate about helping individuals, teams and organisations develop resilient, purpose-driven leaders who lead with clarity, confidence and conviction.

My approach focuses on practical leadership development, mental resilience, effective decision-making and character-based leadership. I believe sustainable success begins from within and that strong leaders create stronger teams and organisations.
